Kim Hargreaves pattern help - pls

Please help explain this pattern instruction....

Inc 1 st at each end of next row ( I get that bit) and 3 foll 6th rows.
Note I start with 56 st and end with 64.

What does the 3 foll 6th rows mean? Do I increase every 6th row for 3 times? So I have added another 18 rows and increased on 6, 12 and 18?

Yep, that's it. Inc on the next row, work 5 rows, inc on the next/6th row. Repeat. That will give you 4 inc rows with 2 sts increased, adding 8 more to the 56 sts for 64 sts.
