Hello! I'm in Florida also. I've been knitting off and on for... 38 years! gasp steadily now for the past 8, and crocheting for 26. I consider knitting my legal drug. ;-). Happy New Year yarnies!

Well, I just joined and am looking forward to visiting with other knitters. I'm in Southern California and home with my fuzzy family ;-).

As far as prizes are concerned, anything knitting would be great!

I've been knitting (again) for the last 7 years or so. I crocheted when I was a kid, but that was decades ago, so it doesn't count lol.

Amy and I live in western Massachusetts. Transplants from the Boston area, moved out to Amherst to go to UMASS in the mid 90's. Met as housemates, fell in love, and the rest is history!

Without knitting, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to afford the meds needed... it is my sanity!

What's everyone knitting?

Tonight, I'm going to work on this dishcloth pattern, which I found hanging up in Michaels but is also available free online. It's wonderfully thick and soft! It's going to be a gift for a friend who just bought her first house. I've already completed one.

I live in Waynesville, NC. I used to live about 30 miles north of Charlotte. A place called Rockwell. Anyone know of either of theses places?
