Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that this new year brings far better (everything) for all!

I finished a sock today.....I made the discovery sock from Cat Bordhi's book "Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters." I've knit plenty of socks, but this is by far a way different way of accomplishing the same thing. So....I guess I should start the second sock tomorrow, otherwise I just have one! LOL!

Any knitting-related resolutions for 2013?

I am determined to knit a bit almost every day. I'm in my third year of teaching and still very overwhelmed as I continue to work on a couple of certifications. I love knitting socks and shawls and have found my stress level increase with the amount of knitting time that decreases. Coincidence? Probably not.

Knitting is such a stress-reliever for me. When I have a rough week at work, I love my weekends so I can just relax and knit and unwind.

I am going to FINISH the 2012 Bernat Mystery Blanket that I started last year. I was so busy moderating their forum, that I hardly had time to stitch.
