When I first started knitting, I searched everywhere so I could buy this "magic loop".

I was clueless!

When I learned to knit, I taught myself by buying a set of straight needles, some red heart, and a pamphlet at Michael's. It took me a whole day to figure out that after you knit the first row, you had to turn your work. I could not figure out what do after the first row!
