What a fun thread to read. I'm falling asleep, but wanted to stop in to say hi.

My New Year's resolution is to knit more socks. I've knit two pairs, but know that it will take more than that to really get good at them.

Thing is, no matter how many needles you use to knit a sock, whether you use dpns, two circs, or one circ, you're still only actually knitting with 2 needles....the rest are just stitch holders. It's easier to do than it looks, especially if you just do what the pattern says, step by step, and try not to overthink it.

(And this from a self-taught knitter!)
