There are some great videos to help you learn, Amy did some really wonderful ones that are linked at the top of the page here. You know where to come for help! One really nice thing about knitting with needles is the "grab and go" part. A small project that I can grab and take in the car is really handy when I get a call asking me to pick up GKs after school. I knit and wait. I don't think I could manage a loom behind the steering wheel.

Thanks for the love, Sheldon and Amy!
I just love doing this every year. My life wouldn't be complete without my annual all nighter in the KH Forum!

My favorite Amy video is the kitchener stitch video. I could not live without that video, seriously. My socks all have closed toes due to this video. I'm a fan most definitely.

You know, I think you're describing why it was hard for me to use a loom. I have arthritis, and the loom itself was heavy to hold.

YES!! THANK YOU SANDY!!!!
What a fun time.

I can't wait to see what the mystery knitting project turns out to look like, it sounds adorable. Will pictures be in this thread, Sandy, or is there some other place I should check back to see the projects?

Good night from the East Coast, 1:30am here.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

So true. Sometimes when you just READ a knitting pattern, it doesn't make sense. But, if you WORK the pattern, you can SEE what the pattern is talking about....and everything just falls into place.
