Help! Trying to decode instuctions

Hello,
I am knitting my first sweater in the round and am stumped by an instruction for a decrease. I get that it is for decreases on a single round but I'm not sure what the numbers refer to. I start with 114 and end up with 112 so I'm only decreasing 2 stitches. Here is the instruction:
" dec 2-2-0-2-2-0 sts evenly on round"
