Hi all!!!

Just trying to understand this pattern. Here is the pattern part that has me confused:
Cast on 82 st
Uneven rows: ks, knit until last st, ks
Even rows: ks, *k1, p1*, repeat *-* until last st, ks
Repeat row 1 & 2 for 18 rows
Continue in st st & increase on 1st row:
ks, *k1 f&b*, repeat *-* until last st, ks do I increase on every row until
I reach that 4th row and make it moss stitch?
For additional effect, knit hat in the following moss pattern on ea 4th row from the back: Row 4: ks, *p1, k1, p1, p1*, repeat *-* until last st, ks
Row 8: ks, *p1, p1, p1, k1*, repeat until last st, ks what do I do for rows 5-7?
Continue like this for 14 rows, then I will increase on ever row except the 4th row until I get to 14 rows?
then start decreases (decreases are made on every 4th row from the back on the non moss knitted rows):
ks, *p10, p2tog*, repeat *-* until last st, ks
Next time: ks, *p9, p2tog*, repeat *-* until last st, ks
Next time: ks, *p8, p2tog*, repeat *-* until last st, ks a.s.o until 12 st remain
Break yarn and pull through remaining st
Seam side seam and weave in all loose ends
