Sport weight?

I am confused as to what sport weight yarn is. Is it light 3 ? Is there a chart somewhere? HELP!

I think of it as being between fingering and dk weight. Of course, this will depend on the company, as the sport weight of one company might knit up like the fingering weight yarn of another company.

I agree with the above. It's classified as a 2 but it may help to look at stitch gauge (23-26sts/4inches) more than the classification.
