got a mind block my pattern say "keep ing patt correct dec1 st at each end of next 3 rows (done this bit ok its the folloeing im stuck on) then foll 4 alt rows, then every foll 4th row 5 times.

Do in work row straight then dec next row then work row straight then dec row ect untill i have worked 4 dec rows then 3 straight dec one ect 5 time?

Ok 'foll' means following or after, an 'alt row' is every other row, so 'foll 4 alt rows' means on every other row 4 times. After that 'every foll 4th row' is on every 4th row, 5 more times.

That will be a total of 9 dec rows after the dec every row, so here are the rows...
