My students need your help

Hi fellow-knitters,

Besides knitting, I'm also a teacher for home-bound students (they're too sick to go to school) Some of my students have no technology in their homes at all and I need a 3-G iPad so I can bring technology (teacher web-sites, presentations, etc) to them. Since I don't have the money (nor does my district), I've created a classroom project request at DonorsChoose.org, an award-winning charity.

:Good luckI hopeyou get what you need for teaching the kids I know what its like I have a child that is too sick togo to school. So far he has been sick for a year and a half and still no answers why or with what. So good luck

Socklady, I hope your child improves soon. Are you receiving homebound services through your school district? My heart goes out to you. It's a difficult thing to have a sick child!
