FO: Did I show you our blankets?
I know some of you are following the blankets for youth shelter project on my blog, and for those who don't I have a few pictures. These blankets were creatively put together (by yours truly) from a bunch of squares that were previously made by anonimous knitters.

Some ladies from a knitting group I belong to helped with the stitching, but I stitched a whole lot of squares, too.

Funny, I was always terrified of large projects and I think I somehow got over it with these blankets

This is the first one, more info about it here

And this is another one, more about it here

Thanks!

Beautiful! That should let someone know they're cared about as it keeps them warm. Great blanket for a great project.

Those are gorgeous, Olha! You sewed them together perfectly, and the squares are such delightful, cheery colors.

Next thing you know, you'll be making fabric quilts--although these are just as good as quilts, maybe even better since they're a lighter weight without the batting.

Wonderful, Olha, wonderful! And of course, your photography is stellar as well. It's so nice to view a beautiful piece in a beautiful setting as well!
