FO: Another Top-Down Pullover
I love Ann Budd's book on top-down sweaters. This is my second short-sleeved pullover knitted for ME! The fit is perfect! And so comfortable! Here are the pictures.

Everyone must be asleep this morning, cuz that's a gorgeous pullover, and it looks so good on you, too.

I love the lace work at the bottom and sleeves. Very unique. What pattern did you use for the lace? Also, is that a cable that runs up the sides?

What an inspiration you are!

The lace pattern is from
http://laceknittingstitch.blogspot.com/
pattern #14. I found this site on KH -- probably from you, Antares. I put part of the lace pattern down the sides -- the same as on the sleeves -- and a part of the overall lace pattern. I had to crunch the numbers pretty hard (lots of scratch paper), to get the repeats to work out at the bottom of the sweater -- but it worked! On the sleeves, I just had to dec. 2 sts. for it to work.

Thanks for your kind words.

Oh, yeah, I did post a link to that site (although someone else may have posted it before me). So glad it was helpful, and it's really nice to see one of those patterns used in a project. I keep drooling over them but haven't used any of them yet.

Yup, I'd say you crunched those numbers quite successfully!

Thanks for the answers to my nosy questions.

This is a gorgeous top that looks fabulous on you. I'd vote for you for the cover on Ann Budd's second edition. Well done! Enjoy every minute of wearing it.

Beautiful!!! I love the extra touches you put in, turning what could have been a ho-hum sweater into something quite divine!

GREAT job!

Oh, and I really like that color!!!!

You look spectacular! The sweater is a perfect fit! Your stitches are so nice and uniform, too! Great job!

Spectacular! That is one of my favorite colors and it is very flattering on you! Maybe one day I'll be able to knit something like that!
