Yeah, you better save the antique patterns for the weekend--or whenever you're not supposed to be working.
I love the history embedded in these journals--the yarns available, the things people wore, the things women wore to bed
, the unique things that were important (hair bowls?), and, of course, the patterns themselves. They have inspired me to try Irish crochet . . . . some day when I'm a little less busy.
