Wonderful. They really work well together and this colour can go with nearly anything Neat knitting too, for what I can see.

Grand job - I hope the sweater will fit!

I'm 49 (but a young 49) so not quite got to the hippie stage yet (hopefully) If I wear an ordinary woolly hat they tend to look like a tea cosy on my head

I believe you are one week older than I; I love my slouchy hat. When it is unearthed, I will have DH take a photo and I'll post it here. Here is the link for the pattern:
