So here it is. I used a dpn to hold it closed so it could be shown. I am realizing that I should pick up a shawl pin for this before I send it to my niece, so I am glad that you mentioned this JC. Thanks

This worked out beautifully and will look lovely on your niece (not that it doesn't look good on the lampshade, too). It's very striking in these colors and will be much appreciated I'm sure. Well done!

Thanks for the pic. I do have a shawl pin so maybe I just need to practice in front of the mirror. I sure enjoyed making mine and hope your niece likes hers.

The shawl pin arrived! I still need to wash and block this, and I am considering adding another strand or two of yarn to each tassel. Here is a photo of the shawl with the pin.

One more photo
Moondance Wingspan is blocked and is now packed and ready to go. The blocking process opened up the eyelet row very nicely, I now love blocking

Lovely, and cute tassles. I also looked through many pics on Ravelry and it does look strange just wrapped around, in my opinion. But with the pin you can show the beauty of it, so that all the colours and the shape can be appreciated.
