He hand makes his needles and they're sooooo smooth. I've used both the Speed Stix and the circs and I'm so glad I invested in the circs. They're much easier to use when you don't have to worry about stitches jumping off the ends.

What are the cables on these like? Are they really flexible? Do they insist on coiling? Having needles specifically made to fill an order sounds so cool.

The cables in those pictures look different than mine do. The ones in the pictures look black. Mine looks like silver-colored telephone cable inside clear plastic. It's as thick as a size 8 or 9 knitting needle. It bends pretty easily but stays straight while I'm knitting with the needles.

GG I LOVE my handmade size 50 circs. I have knit afghans with my size 50 straights by using 4 strands of LB Homespun and it was soooooooo frustrating to have the stitches fall off the other end of the needles.

I have recommended Mr. Jenkins to a few friends and they've also been very happy with his work.
