Hi I am new to knitting I have made a scarf and am now making wristwarmers and reading a pattern for the first time! So far I have knitted 5cm of 2x2 rib and now the pattern says "Rib 6, rib2tog, (rib2, rib2tog) 10 times, rib 6. 43 stitches. I just don't understand what this means :(
For whatever reason, perhaps different sizes, the pattern isn't specifying whether you k2tog or p2tog. In your case you would k2, p2, k2, p2tog (k2, p2tog) 10 times and finish with k2, p2, k2. You should have 43sts at the end of this row. Ther repeat 10 times applies to the (k1, p2tog) only.
