That sucks. Really, really sucks.

Three million? Heck, there are that many Starbucks shops on every street corner. BTW I only venture into Seattle if I really must.

Snow finally came. It was so pretty yesterday, 75º with the sun shining. This morning... temps below freezing, quarter sized snowflakes, and an 8" blanket of COLD (talk about the calm before the storm)! The roads are all slush now, but they won't be in the morning, it'll all be ice. Praying Phill doesn't see his shadow today!

PS Happy Groundhog Day!

Tab, don 't go skating on the streets in your car, please. Even buying yarn couldn't be worth that! It sounds like your snow turning to a skating rink is about the same as what happens here. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm fine. People around here act like you know what has frozen over and its the end of the world whenever so much as a flake of snow is predicted for the area.

Schools cancel, business close, and people head to the store to buy milk and bread and anything else perishable along with generators and such. Its really quite funny, since I am originally from Minnesota, where this kind of weather is typical.

Its warmed up a bit since the extreme cold, but more snow and cold are predicted early this week.

Florida did not get any of the snow, just the rain. We had 3 days of non stop rain . Getting wet in the am when out on crossing guard duty is not fun. It is a good thing I have a shoe dryer because I only have 1 pair of work shoes.
