Ha! I just looked up the socks he buys and they're only 67% wool!
He was very surprised. So now I am going to make him socks!

ha ha ha... which means just about ANY wool blend sock yarn will be more wool quality than what he's got. now you just have to find which one(s) you prefer to work with.
still alive and kicking, still knitting... but 2015 was a very busy and tough year, so i'm not around as often as i was...
