One side of Cardigan is longer than the other
Hello. I am almost done with a simple cardigan for my DD. The pattern is haiku from knitty.com. It is a sideways knit cardigan so the edges of the 2 cardigan openings are the cast-on and bound-off edges. Well, my cast-on edge is much looser than the bound off edge and so that side of the cardigan is longer than the right and looks sloppy.
How can I fix this? Thanks for any advice. BTW, I used the crochet cast-on method.

Welcome NBknitter!

Hmmmm....

Maybe you could pick up stitches along the CO edge, and BO those stitches as you go? That way you'll have a BO edge on that side as well.

I'm not sure what it will look like, but I imagine it will look fine. You could try it anyway....

Thanks for the welcome Amy, here's my intro
My name is Jin and I am a SAHM knitting in Newport Beach, CA. I consider myself a long-term beginner knitter, having picked up the hobby a few months ago after a years long hiatus. Im totally hooked now and yearn to knit, or buy yarn, or scavenge patterns almost every available chance I get. ':D'
