increase in purl stitch
how exactly do you make an increase in a purl stitch? I've tried a few ways and they all seem messy!!

A purl increase is just the reverse of a knit increase. You could lift the bar between two stitches, twist and purl it, or you could purl in the front and back of a stitch.
