purl side decreases....
I'm working in st st, and the pattern calls for single stitch decreases on each row on the same edge (for neck shaping). If, for example, I do a k2tog on the end of a knit row and then turn to work on the purl side, what's the best decrease to use on the reverse of a k2tog? All the slanting business & decreses on both sides is confusing me.....

I always get my purlside decreases confused, as to which ones slant which way. I just don't use them enough to remember!

I think you'd want to use p2tog to match a k2tog on the RS. And SSP (described on the decrease page), to match a left slanting RS decrease.....

Thanks Amy! I wish the pattern I'm working on would be more specific as to the type of decrease to use.
