Or, if you want to join the new yarn at the sleeve end, you can k18, bo10, & continue working the far side with that yarn. Then join the new yarn at the beginning of that same row, so the join is at a sleeve seam and easily worked in invisibly in the seam. Since the neck is so prominent & joins can show a bit, this can be preferrable.
