not sure where this belongs...question for y'all
Hey All:

Just a question....on my pattern for my poor hat (I finished one that definitely ISN"T going anywhere!! I had to rip it out and somehow ended up with and extra stitch and now just looks really wonky!! but I digress..) it says for rows 6-? 5 to garter stitch for 4 inches (after doing 5 rows of k2 p2 ribbing). Does that mean I measure from the ribbing or the beginning of the hat?

i think it means just the garter stitch part. ussually if it wanted the ribbing included it would say so.

just wondering cause....
it seems to me to be wayyyy to big for a preemie....esp in the hosp....but I haven't finished it yet...it's still flat....so I guess we will have to see.

Welcome KatyKoolKat!

Here's info on head sizes for babies, including premies, and including "height", which might help give you a sense if it's too big.
