what is seed
My pattern calls for seed stitch but neglects to tellme what it is...any helpers.

basically you knit the purls and purl the knits so you would do something like this...

kpkpkpkp
pkpkpkpk

it creates kind of a bumpy pattern

FYI, seed stitch and moss stitch are NOT the same thing.

Looks like Moss stitch is 2 rows of seed followed by 2 more rows of seed, but the 2nd set of 2 rows is "offset" in some way.

Moss uses two rows, and/or two stitches. Seed stitch uses one row, one stitch.
