WANTED: Rediculously easy Christmas Stocking pattern
I know the knit stitch, I can even purl... but only in rectangle or square shapes. Pretty much, I can make scarves, washclothes and pot holders. I am dying to knit my kiddos Christmas stockings, and at my speed I should get started now. Please help a sister out with a super duper beginner pattern!
thank you!

I don't know if any of these are ridiculously easy, but if you find one you'd like to attempt, we'd certainly help you through it!

This one looks very simple...not a regular heel -- the shaping is all done with increases/decreases. :D

Ahh, Julie--that looks like one I knitted for our kids before I learned how to knit with dps--about 30 years ago. I mean--our kids were growing up then!! I only learned to knit with dps THIS year! :D
