I need more help with my sweater
I am working the sleeves for the sweater I am making, and I'm not sure what I am supposed to do. I am making the Banff sweater from Knitty, http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter03/PATTbanff.html and the cuff of the sleeve is worked in 2x2 ribbing. I can handle that, but then I get to the decrease.
Here's was the pattern says to do:
"Cast on 66 sts. Work in k2, p2 rib for 16 rows.
On next RS row, k2, [p2tog, k2, p2, k2] 3 times; work to last 26 sts; [k2, p2, k2, p2tog tbl] 3 times; k2. Work 7 more rows evenly in this modified ribbing patt across these 60 sts."

Ok, I got that, but then what do I do on the WS? My guess is, that decrease pattern is only worked on the RS rows, correct? Then, if thats the case, what do I do on the wrong side? After the decrease row, the wrong side will not be two purls then two knits, it will have one purl, and two knits due to the p2tog from the the row before. So do I just keep knitting two knits then two purls? Or do I knit the two knits and only purl once when I get to where I did the p2tog? Either way, when I get back to the RS decrease row again, I can't see how it all would match up. Should I expect my ribbing to look like a checker board when I am done? I hope I am making sense!

Thanks again, matt

Since is says to work in the modified ribbing pattern, just knit the knits and purl the purls as they face you. There will be places where the ribbing is not 2/2, just knit it as it appears.

Thank you my dear, you saved my day again. I know I sound like I have no idea what I'm doing, I just write things as they come into my head, so I'm glad you know what I'm talking about!

Thanks so much!
