help with instructions
the part that i'm confused about is in red

K2 (edge sts), p0 (4), k0 (5)

maybe that means dont purl or knit the following sts, but do you just skip over them?

If you're doing the smallest size, you do no stitches. If you're doing the next larger size you do the stitches that are in ( )
