First Attempt at a Pattern
I'm a new knitter and found a pattern I wanted to try and there is a picture but I don't get a sense of what the back will look like. Can someone help me?

The pattern is:
Rows 1, 3, 5-11, 13, 15, 16: Knit
Rows 2, 4, 12, 14: Purl
Repeat until desired length.

So, it seems to me that the front will alternate between garter and stockinette. But, the back will not have a pattern at all. Is that right?

The front looks like it will alternate between stockinette and garter, and so the back will alternate between reverse stockinette and garter. Reverse stockinette will show the purl bumps rather than the v's of knitting.

With this yarn I didn't actually see the difference until I stretched it out a little. Thank you for answering my stupid question. :D
