Femmy, you DO have to cast on at the same point in the yarn pattern. But when you do, it really does stripe that perfectly!

Id be curious, though, to find out if other brands of yarn have the same problem I had....In every skein of the KPs Simple Stripes I used (4 all together for both baby sets I made) there was always a break/knot somewhere, and they didnt bother to match it up at the same point in the patterning. I wasted alot of yarn because of that.
