How to transfer stitches from circular to dpn????
I am at the point in knitting this hat where I have to move the stitches off the circular needles. How do I do this and how many dpns am I moving to? How do I keep everything straight and going in the right direction? Thanks in advance for all the help on this hat from forum knitting whizzes! Sally

You're going to divide your stitches onto three dpns, and you'll knit with the fourth. Probably the easiest way to do this and keep track is to just slip the stitches onto each dpn as if to purl. Do the first third of the stitches on to the first needle, then the next third on the second needle, etc. Then you're yarn will be at the beginning of the first needle ready to knit.
