I bought micro fleece from Joann's. Cut a wide band, folded the raw edges in, and hand stitched into the hat. Even though I used baby alpaca I think any wool gets itchy on my forehead.

Is there a knit-along for Tubey? I better go check.

Ooh, that's a great idea--I'll have to try the fleece. I get itchy forehead, too, from almost any wool--even if the yarn is only 20% wool--so the fleece should help a lot. Thanks!

Here's the Tubey KAL.
