I think your bag is beautifully done...inside and out...the letters are great too. Her initials I imagine. Nice and personal. You are a wonderful granddaughter to make this lovely and practical bag for your grandmother. Perhaps she wants to make it a shoulder bag so she can have her hands free when she walks. This is safer for her. Let's hope the straps do stretch out for her a bit. Unless of course you can make new straps that are a bit longer to be worn over her shoulder. I hope she grows to appreciate and enjoy her new bag.
