LadyPurl, what yarn are you using for this project? I'd like to turn this into a stash buster if I can. Are natural 'unwashed' wools a good call, do you think, for cable work? I seem to recall reading somewhere that they show the stitches in relief better.

Well im using acrylic because iw ant to get rid of all of it that i can, but wool sounds really good, and i also heard the same about it showing the stitches better while cabling, i will post a pic when im done if thats what you asking, bu i think you should just use what you have. BUt im so happy someone wants to do the scarf with me it gets to e more fun once youve memorized the pattern though

How far into the scarf are you? I may cast on today or tomorrow... I'm trying to finish a drumstick on my Olympic project and I'm also working down a sleeve for my YOTS Knitalong.

i ve done about a foot but i have nothing better to do
