I have friends who have finished several boogas and made them just slightly larger. They used single strand Noro, and the bags are fairly sturdy. I think it would be awfully hard to get your Noro colors to line up exactly.
My plan, when I finish the supersize momstrosity, is to make quite a few boogas as gifts. I am going to double strand on the bottom with a matching yarn - in lambs pride or something a bit more economical than Noro. Then go on up the sides with the noro. I can't take credit for this idea - I am going to somewhat follow these directions:

She says this will only take 2 skiens of Noro. I think in order to get the bag size I want, if I make it larger, will take 4 skeins if I just use Noro - and since I am making as gifts and you never know what people will think.......
