Haven't received my Thimble pads yet, but came across a package of these Thimble-It pads at Michael's. They work really well. They come in a package 64 and are reuseable. Had to use one with my Susan Bates circular needles for a project totally in the round. The 1st few rounds after casting on require that you work the points of the needles from the yarn with your fingers. Apparently the more rounds you get from the cast-on round, it gets easier and requires less use of your fingers to slide the needles from the yarn. Anyway, if you don't have a Michael's nearby, here's the web site where you can purchase them online:

They should make using my NeedleMaster set less painful.
