Redistributing stitches to begin heel flap
Hi!! I have been knitting for a little over a year, and I it. I'm tring my first socks, a pair of preemie socks. I'm comfortable with dpns, and I have reached the point where I need to "redistribute" stitches to work heel flap.
I have looked at the video, and looked at other online references, but they don't tell *how* to do this. I have 24 stitches on 3 needles, and need to end up with 12 st on needle 1, and 6 st on needles 2 and 3. If I just move them over, then the woking yarn is in the wrong spot. I can't get the beginning of round to be in the middle of the first needle...I'm just missing something, I know, but I can't figure it out Please help!! Thanks so much!!
