Spare yarn

Hi everyone,

What should I do with this ball of cream and silver yarn?

Can't make anything that is in direct contact with the skin because the silver thread in it is itchi.

A little purse is a great idea! You could line it with silver or white satin.

A purse sounds a bit complicated for me at the moment but I thought of a hair band or two in garter stutch or ribbed to make it a bit stretchy.

Do you have any particular purse pattern you were thinking about?

A purse or clutch might not be that complicated at all - you could do a stitch pattern in a rectangular shape and then just seam up the sides. Just a thought.

An envelope clutch purse would be pretty easy. Just straight knitting and then decreasing for a pointy flap, or even just straight knitting and folding the flap over. You could find a pattern on the net somewhere, I'd bet. Try lionbrand's site. Very photogenic yarn, by the way. ;o) samm
