Got some vintage wool
Well, this is what happens when you grandmother is a knitter, owned a dime store, sells the dime store and gives all the remaining yarn to your aunt, also a knitter and that aunt has a yarn stash that would make Ingrids look small. Seriously. Its scary in there.

I have tons of vintage coats and clark 100% virgin wool. I took a pic and as soon as I give my 2 year old the proper ransom he will disclose where he is hiding the cord to transfer the pics on to the computer.

Anyway, it was really cool to read the labels from the early 70's,maybe 60's. This yarn is older than I am! (was born in 79 lol)

Now....what to make with it? Sorta feels like sandpaper so something felted would be best I think.

Free yarn is never a bad thing--especially if it's wool! Lucky you!

Its awesome! Its like yarn shopping without the painful expense! At grandmas house there is mostly cotton. At my aunts house there is wool and acrylic and everything else you could ever need.

I just tried the hair conditioner trick on some scratchy wool I have. It worked out great. You might be able to resurect that wool into something really useful.
