hmm, I think the first thing I would get is an angora bunny or two, because they're adorable. Then I'd get some dpn's, and probably a spinning wheel and a spinning class or two. And anything left over would go to books/yarn.

1. i'd buy that sweater pattern computer program thingie $100, then
2. i'd take that advanced knitting class & sweater designing class at FIT (think that was $150) and then
3. i'd buy that cashmerino i've heard sooo much about (and almost daringly touched at this cute lil LYS on 52nd street that i just discovered & i say almost daringly because i get paid next week and i KNOW if i touched it i'd be buying it next wk)..... i'd need enough for a long sweater jacket thingie... so like 19 skeins or something crazy like that... so i'd be over budget wouldnt i?

but i think i'd probably still do what i do...buy vintage books & patterns on ebay (i've gotten some AWESOME sweater jackets... very starsky & hutch & bionic woman from the 70's) and re-sell the ones that dont float my boat....

sigh... this was fun!

OK here's link that shows some prices of Cherry Tree Hill. The skeins are HUGE like 500 yards at least. They do that they say becasue each color is its own individual thang and they don't want youto run out and have to use another color. THis way, all the color you need is right there and one HUGE thing.
