???? inc 10 sts evenly across last row???
I am making a baby blanket from a free pattern from Bernat. It is called the Orange Knit blanket.

Pattern says to cast on 110 sts (which I did)
then you knick 9 rows in garter and then it says to inc 10 sts evenly across last row to make 120 sts. Do I just knit in the front and back of 5 stitches? And do I do it on one end? I am not sure what to do here and want to keep going tonight!!!!

Thanks for any help!
And I can be reached quicker at Binkyman99@comcast.net

I had to do something like that recently & what I did was subtracted 2 from the original number of stitches. Then I divided the # of remaining stitches by the number of increases. That way I had at least a k1 at the beginning & end of the row. In your case since 108 isn't evenly divisible by 10, I would:

k5, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k10, m1, k5

Make sense?

ETA: In the pattern I did this on it said to make increases by m1, but you could easily k in front & back as well (in fact, I prefer it!)
