Adding needlepoint flowers to a scarf

Hello!

I'm making a scarf with a very pretty purple heather colored yarn and was wondering how hard would it be to add needlepoint flowers to accent the ends of the scarf ... I saw one at the Boston Store (Macy's equivalent) with needlepoint flowers and it looked pretty simple, but I thought I'd check with y'all first.

Any and all suggestions, tips, advice (and photos or instructions) would be greatly appreciated!!
