Any Chico, CA knitters?

I'm wondering if there are any knitters from Chico, CA around? i would like to join a knitting group.

Hi letah! I am out near Palm Springs, so I wouldn't be able to do a bunch of regular meetings, but we could totally arrange a knit-together at an LYS somewhere, yes? I know Jan lives around SoCal and a couple of other people too. I tried to organize something before but the timing was bad.

I used to live up in Chico. now I live in Sonoma. a few hours away. I used to live in Vacaville, which would have been a little closer. but if ya ever come down this way or wanna meet up. let me know

I think you are thinking about Chino. I'm in Chico, about 1 1/2 hours from Sacramento, CA. :-(

According the link at the top of the topics list there are at least 2 yarn stores in Chico. Where there are yarn stores, there are knitters.

Unfortunately, their knitting groups are when I work

I was hoping to meet with someone who could meet at different times.

I'm up in Redding. I believe we've spoken about it before. I might be able to do a meet up once a month. I hate to spend that much in gas, but I just can't find anyone here.

I also wanted to add that my one LYS doesn't have a group that meets except for the classes that you have to pay for. One sock class was $40. Ouch!!!!

My LYS is also a quilting shop and they cater to them more. :(
