ok...I have the base triangles completed and I ended up with the correct number o stitches this time. My problem was as I expected--it had to do with me not knitting my first CO stitch as one stitch--I was treating it as two. Here's my next question: should what I have at this point (at the end of the base triangles before I PU stitches w/ CC!) look like one triangle hanging from the needle and another that is hanging from it's base w/ it's tip connected back to the needle between the bases of the two triangles??? Does this make sense? Also--I know to PU the stitches on the WS so that I don't get the ugly issue of joining the colors but it says to pfb, p2tog on the left edge triangle. Which is the left edge triangle if I am looking at the triangles w/ the WS facing me? Here's two pictures...
yeah!!!! Yep thats right and the left triangle is really the RS left.. so where you left off on and just broke the yarn is where you will start your new section...
