Men's Beanie?

Hi, my boyfriend said he would love for me to knit him a beanie for Christmas. I'm having a hard time finding good looking beanies. A lot of the ones I found weren't really that many. Hmm, come to think of it, he wouldn't care if it was kind of feminine. But, what kinds of beanies have you knitted for the men in your life?

I made my DH a hat in Patons SWS Natural Navy....has a colorway with blue, tan, and black. I just did a 1x1 rib on the bottom and stockinette the rest of the way. Boring, yes, but the man likes simple things. I also made him a black hat in stockinette with a couple of green stripes right above the ribbing. Again, simple.
