really OT - anyone in Canada?
Ok, this is a fairly strange request. My husband loves Les Stroud aka Survivorman. Les is doing a special about living off the grid, which is something my husband has always wanted to eventually do. Problem is, the special is only airing in Canada. Is there anyone that could tape it for me or something? I think it would be a really neat surprise for him. Just thought it may be worth a shot posting about it here!

more info: Off The Grid with Les Stroud

Watch OLN in Canada this November 28th at 8 pm for Les's 90 minute special; It follows Les and his family's trials of becoming a family dedicated to self sufficiency with a love for a life close to nature.

OLN looks familiar -- I'm pretty sure we have that channel on cable, which means that it's available in the US. (I think it's the outdoor life network or something?) Unless the Canadian version is different, you might be able get a friend near you to tape it instead of trying to find someone in Canada to do it.

I'll have to look into if we get that! It sounded familiar, but I wasn't sure if Canada's OLN was different than something we would have here.
