Ok so I've been busy trying to get Christmas knitting done, just like lots of you... here's some pictures

I didn't give it either, just knit it closed with the pillow inside, I know it will be used as a deco pillow on her bed I would have at least made a flap so that it overlaped in the back but as it is I only ordered 2 skeins of wota and so just had enough to finish, probably 3 yards left, not enough for a flap on a fat pillow. Oh well.
I need to add also that the celtic cable was originally going to be a scarf for her for Christmas but I got very bogged down b/c each pattern repeat -16 rows- took me 45 min and I'm not a slow knitter. I decided that I was not going to finish it by Christmas so I just did 5 repeats and decided that I could either make it a wall hanging (if I got really short on time) or a pillow, just finished it today... {thought we had a smiley wiping his brow?}
