Just wondering. What is the purpose of the bumper? Since these are slippers, wouldn't a bumper get knocked a bit simply by scuffing around? They DO look nice, though. I've only put on the normal double sole. Is there a purpose for the bumper besides style?

The bumper makes the sole a bit wider, but really it just seems to be a style feature.

Those who got their clogs today loved them!!! (I distributed 8 pair today.) I gave everyone else cloggie IOUs and will get them all out in the next few weeks (have to place another KP order...pity, that...).

My parent's LOVED their clogs too.... It was such a great feeling to see their reaction! They opened at the same time and Ooohhed and Ahhed. When I told them that I made them they said in unison "You made them?!!!" Definitely a warm feeling.
