carrying the off color yarn when illusion knitting
Hi,

I'm very new to knitting but would like to try an illusion pattern such as DNA ( http://magknits.com/May06/patterns/rosalind.htm ) or this nice one ( http://www.dabne.net/carolina/geekkn...uxscarf-en.htm ).

Which technique is used to carry the "other color" along while you work the rows? The ones I saw Amy describe in her videos seemed more for multi-colors on the same row.

Thanks!
